For Sue and Ed, saying that they are lucky to do what they love in life is an understatement. For Sue in particular, horses were not a part of her life, they WERE her life. She spent over 20 years training standard bred race horses and showing Paints. Having always been an admirer of the most colorful of horses, falling in love with Gypsy Vanners was not surprising. But as any Gypsy Vanner fan can attest to, it’s the temperament and majesty of these animals that grabs and keeps you. “In 2001, Ed and I went down to see Dennis Thompson (the first importer of Gypsy Vanners in the United States) in Ocala, Florida, and it was love at first sight. I knew at once that this was it,” she continued.
